How SharpSlot uses Google Calendar
SharpSlot requests Google Calendar permission only when a merchant chooses to connect their account. This permission allows SharpSlot to create a calendar event when a booking is confirmed, update that event when appointment details change, and remove it when the booking is cancelled or deleted.
Why access is requested
Calendar access keeps the merchant’s SharpSlot bookings and primary Google Calendar synchronized automatically, helping prevent missed appointments and schedule conflicts.
Merchant controlled
The connection is optional. Merchants choose the Google account, approve access themselves, and can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from SharpSlot Settings.
Limited use
SharpSlot uses Google authorization only for the booking-sync feature. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used for unrelated purposes. Read the Privacy Policy for full details.
